Rafvélar
Licensed electrical contractor
An electrical contractor who is also a mechanical engineer and master machinist
Rafvélar is a licensed electrical contractor (löggiltur rafverktaki) with extensive experience in machinery installation, factories, general electrical work, distribution board replacement, EV charging points, lighting and maintenance.
Three trades held by one person
Jón Viðar Viðarsson, the owner and founder of Rafvélar, is a mechanical engineer (vélfræðingur), a master electrician (rafvirkjameistari) and a master machinist (vélvirkjameistari). That means one person can take responsibility for both the machinery and the wiring that feeds it — the machine, the connection and the commissioning. It is why Rafvélar works on machinery and factories as readily as on ordinary electrical installations.
